It's all in the wrists — Budo Brothers Hanbo.
So I wanna share my latest purchase with you.
I bought a Hanbo from the Budo Brothers online store after finding them on Instagram. They're a really cool brand who put a lot of thought into the design of their products, as well as just their functionality. It was refreshing to see, so I kinda had to buy one even if it was just for display.
I'd never used a Hanbo before, I've been looking forward to getting towards my brown belt in Kempo then I can start training with weapons - but guessed it wouldn't hurt to get a head start. I chose the Ash model because of its light weight and agility, and took it to my Kempo tutor to see if he could show me how to properly use it.
"Everything we do is small quantity, ultra-premium, and exclusive. Passion is engrained in everything we do, and you can feel it the second you hold one of our creations in your hand."
I learned some basic moves with it and practiced spinning, but it's also great for stretching before and after a training session too!
Granted I'm a bit shit for now, but as with anything more practice will help. I'll post a video in a few months when I pick up the pace a little, and see what kind of progress I've managed to make.
